LIFT Living Archive

LIFT launches the LIFT Living Archive

LIFT Living Archive

'The Tower Project' conceived and directed by Deborah Warner as part of LIFT '99 / Photo: Michael O'Brien.

We're delighted that the LIFT Living Archive that has been developed in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London is now officially open.

This is a collection of photographs, prints, objects, audio and video recordings that traces LIFT's first 20 years as one of Europe's leading arts organisations. We hope the Archive will not only be a resource for artists but also for academics and the wider community.

An online cataloge detailing the LIFT Living Archive's full contents is available at www.goldsmiths.ac.uk/library and the materials can be viewed by appointment only by contacting Special Collections.

You can also view a selection of digitised materials in our searchable online catalogue - representing 50 productions from the first 12 LIFT festivals.
