LIFT Molten Festival was a partnership between LIFT and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham's Molten Festival. The Festival took place over 11 days (21 - 31 August 2009) on Abbey Green, with events inside and outside The Lift.

The programme featured local organisations and participants as well as national and international companies and 3 unique LIFT comissions. There was really was something for everyone to love from amazing spectacle by pioneering French theatre company Transe Express to the innovative and personal Ice Harvest guided tours to contemporary cabaret with The Whoopee Club to karaoke backed by The Pete Long Orchestra, a 20 piece big band.
